When it comes to nursery design, one of our favourite trends is the pastel colour palette. The use of pastel tones is calming, sophisticated, and be used in both boy and girl themed nurseries. It’s a beautiful palette that will grow with your child into their teens. Check out a few of our favourite pastel nursery designs we adore…

Romantic Vintage Nursery

This Romantic pastel nursery has been beautifully put together with feature accessories, creating a dreamy-vintage feel. Using a Dusty-Pink canopy as a feature item is a fabulous idea. The canopy can later be placed over a single bed, or in a reading nook. What a magical space that was featured in Babiekinsmag.

Pastel floral wallpaper is absolutely on-trend for nurseries and kids bedrooms this season. It will give your nursery a feminine touch, and a wonderful way to make room look bright, dreamy and fun. One of our favourite nursery design features and we are hoping it’s here to stay!

Classic Blue

Pastel blues is one of my favourite colours when trying to design a timeless classic nursery. It’s the perfect option for baby boys or as a gender neutral nursery. It inspires a calming and soft space, which will work with earthy or natural decor and furniture items.

Pastel Nursery Decor and Furniture

There are heaps of options when choosing pastel furniture or decor items. If you prefer colours such as grey or white, then try fabulous furniture or wall decor in pastel tones to brighten the room up and tie into your nursery theme. Using an item like wall-bunting or changing-pad cover in a select colours, can change the whole feel and design of the room, without having to paint or wallpaper.

Lots of gorgeous items in all these nursery designs are available to purchase in our online store… xx
